1.Flowers – It may be clichéd and not the most imaginative thing under the sun, but flowers are still one of the best and most popular options. If you are planning to get them delivered then make sure you order in advance and be prepared to pay a premium.

5.Perfume/Aftershave – Try and find out if your partner has a favoured fragrance and treat them. If you feeling extra confident then why not try and pick out something new that you know they will love.

6.Day out – Rather than a gift, why not arrange a trip or a day out to a local attraction or event. A concert or a trip to an art museum might be a nice way to spend the day. If you aren't free on the day itself then promise to take your partner out at the next available weekend.
