CyberPower Black Pearl Core i7 965 EE Gaming System Tweak Town :: Thursday, November 20, 2008
"On November 3rd Intel allowed the world to see just how powerful their new Core i7 / X58 combo was. Just like a title fight with a heavyweight boxer we were knocked out by the power, speed and agility of the new platform and so were our readers from the feedback we received. Until this point Core i7 has been made of pure unobtainium; you simply could not buy it no matter how much you offered. That changes today as e-tail and retail are opening up the ring and everyone gets a chance to fight the champ.
CyberPower has recognized the need to offer us old school users the best components, overclocked to their potential without the need to spend hundreds of hours fine tuning and tweaking. The new CyberPower Black Pearl Series is CyberPower’s answer to the age old question; build it and spend two weeks getting it right or have it made by the pros who already know the ins and outs of a new, highly complex architecture."

Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia for Nintendo DS Reviewed Futurelooks :: Thursday, November 20, 2008
For me, some of the best games available on the Nintendo DS are those
with a nostalgic flair. Sure, I can get interested in some new titles
from time to time, but the ones that captivate me the most are ones
that cash in on the their retro appeal. From New Super Mario Bros. to
Tetris DS, these are the games for me. And that’s why Castlevania:
Order of Ecclesia catches my initial interest.
Left 4 Dead Review (PC) Gaming Heaven :: Wednesday, November 19, 2008
Left 4 Dead is the newest team based game from Valve which puts you and some buddies into the role of a group of people battling against hordes of mutant zombies with a simple goal ... to stay alive and hopefully escape. Is this a modern-day Valve classic or just another run of the mill zombie romp?

5 Newest Pc Game Titles Tested Overclockers Club :: Wednesday, November 19, 2008
"There is not a single game in this performance preview that is unplayable at either maximum or close to maximum settings. Something that can be appreciated after the Crysis bomb was dropped and was found to be all but unplayable with any real quality if you wanted a decent FPS. So where on the price ladder do the latest cards fall? A valid question when your hard earned dollars are at stake. Well, with a quick search on Newegg I found that the HD4870 512MB could be had for as little as $210 while the 1GB version ran as low as $265, both solidly in the middle and lower end of the range. For the boys in green the GTX260/216 core can be had for as little as $229, while the lowest price on a factory overclocked card came in at $239, $25 cheaper than the 1GB HD4870. At least in this game and hardware comparison you have to give the Nvidia camp the win. The company is now competing on price as well as performance and seem to be on the winning side of the fence this go around. The margin is slim at times but higher performance with a decent price will always come out on top for the price conscious buyer, that being most of us!"
Shocking Problems That Riddle The Xbox 360 Tweak Town :: Tuesday, November 18, 2008
"While Microsoft won't give exact numbers, up to 30% of the first 16 million Xbox 360's sold are (or soon will) experience technical difficulties. Literally millions of 360 gamers have had their gaming enjoyment cut short by the various errors that plague the Xbox 360. The Red Ring of Death, the "black screen of death", the 1 red light error and many others can have a dramatic effect on your enjoyment of the system. Errors and problems seem to surround the Xbox 360 like a cloud.
Where does a concerned owner turn for information? How do you find the best information to help you get your system back up and running? Can you even repair your Xbox 360? The honest answer is maybe. Depending on the issue you are dealing with, you may be able to fix it or you may have to replace something."

Call of Duty: World at War performance in-depth Techspot :: Monday, November 17, 2008
Considering the high expectations built around Call of Duty: World at War it will be interesting to see how the game stacks up against other competing shooters, but perhaps most importantly how it compares or improves upon last year's Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare which was an all-around success on the PC platform.
'World at War' was built using an enhanced version of the CoD 4 engine which should come as great news for PC gamers. Not only do we expect this game to look really good because of that, but it should also fair quite well on systems with modest specifications. Unlike Crysis and a few other visually stunning games, Call of Duty 4 wasn't able to bring a high-end system to its knees, and believe us that was a good thing.
Call of Duty: World at War certainly shapes up to be one of the most exciting installments on the series yet, and now we must find out how it will run on your computer...
Big Fish Games' Redrum Reviewed IT Reviewed :: Monday, November 17, 2008
“Big Fish Games’ Redrum won’t challenge the experienced gamer, but the real reason to play this game is to experience the story. The graphics and music are really good, but you should be aware that some can be quite graphic and include blood, syringes, bones and ghosts. Other themes the game explores, game explores - like divorce, mental illness and cruelty - are equally mature. If you’ve not tried a hidden object game before, Redrum isn’t a bad place to start at all. The only drawback to a game like this is that there’s very little replay value - once have completed it you will probably never play it again. Next time we’d like much more of a challenge...”
Smooth Creations LANShark Gaming System Review Legit Reviews :: Thursday, November 13, 2008
"So what can we say about this beauty from Smooth Creations? For the intended audience it’s great. If you appreciate art or really want a departure from the norm for your next gaming PC, Smooth Creations' LANShark is one to keep on your short list. However the one thing I’ve left out until now is the price. At $2,537 this is not an inexpensive machine, but it really isn’t an incredible amount of money over the sum of its parts. When you consider the amount of work that’s been put in, the 1 year warranty on the parts, and the lifetime warranty on the paint (excludes scratching and chipping of course) it really isn’t a bad price if you’re in the market for a system you don’t put together yourself..."

Tom Clancy EndWar (Xbox 360 and PS3) Review Gaming Heaven :: Wednesday, November 12, 2008
Real time strategy games do not work on consoles, I think every gamer out there reading this will be nodding their head in agreement already. Ubisoft are seemingly aware of this and they have decided to push the envelope a little with Tom Clancy's Endwar by invoking a voice activated control interface as well as a camera system designed specifically for the console platform.
Call Of Duty: World At War (X360 & PS3) Review Gaming Heaven :: Wednesday, November 12, 2008
Call Of Duty 4 was arguably one of the greatest first person shooter games of all time. It is with slight reservation that we look at World At War today because not only is it a different developer (Treyarch and not Infinity Ward), but it returns to the somewhat overused World War 2 setting.
